To my acquired sister
Dear j bird:
You are one amazing lady. I have admired you since I met you. You accepted me and have made me feel so very welcome in this town, your family, as your friend. You didn't have to become my friend, but you did it anyway. You help me breathe when I am stressed. You made it a point to show me a half dozen awesome places to hike over the summer. You make plans with me to play, have lunch, go shopping, share your parents... Heck I am tearing up at the thought of all the good times we have, and how kind you are. I love laying in bed watching girlie movies while our husbands play video games. I appreciate how you have vegetarian food at your house. Thank you for having a stock of baby snacks there too. Thank you for coming camping for my birthday. You made it so fun and i look forward to many camping trips in the future. Just think, when the girls are a little bit bigger, the fun we can have with them in the woods!!!! Thank you for being my friend, my sister, my babies' auntie.

Dear Popa
Dear Popa
My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it. - Clarence B. Kelland
I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for you. You gave up so much to take on my hyper butt. Since I stopped being a teenager, you and I have got so much closer. We have shared many MANY laughs and spent countless hours jabbering on (mostly you) about life, experiences, and good times. I avoided doing many very stupid things in my youth because of your honesty with me. I knew things my peers were lied to about. Now that we live a thousand miles apart, you try pretty hard to remain a constant figure in my life. You are a wonder Grampa, which surprises me a bit. I'm really glad you were visiting us when we found out we were having twins! The happiest (and most shocked) tears I have seen you cry.
Thanks for being my dad.

To my mommy
Dear Mommy,
Where to start? I have so much to thank you for. You have been my bestie for so many years. Since my journey into motherhood, I have begun to realize the love you have for me. All of the things you have given up to make my life wonderful. All the things you put up with that were quite unpleasant. All of the days you have worried and the times that I have made you cry. You have always loved me. You have always made sure that I know you stand behind me and want the best for me. You gave taught me everything! How to think and speak and act. You have given me the toolbox necessary to live life and an abundance of tools to make life what I want it. Thank you for having me, keeping me and being my bestie, momma.
Love! Love! Love!

To my mate of soul;
You have taught me so much in our few years together. How to be humble, how to find patience, how to feel loved. You have given me everything that means anything to me. You are the father I wished for my babies and are absolutely amazing with our children. Everyday you kiss me and remind me that i am not alone in this crazy journey. You chose me, a nerdy and slightly insane girl who always had a crush on you, to be your life partner. Thank you, baby, for being such a wonderful person, primo father, caring bestie, and for choosing me. I appreciate and love you more than I will ever be able to express, but I promise I'll try. Wifey

Thank you, Babies 1.1.11
Dear Leona and Stella,
Thank you for existing. Your presence in my life has changed me more than anything has before. You give my life meaning and purpose. I have never been so in love with a person, not even myself. I appreciate your patience with me and live for your hugs. I would do anything for you. You have given me motherhood, thank you. I love you.
